Why we included this project

Ultracite applies one opinionated rule set across Biome, ESLint, Oxlint, Prettier, and Stylelint, so a team gets consistent linting and formatting without configuring each tool separately. Adopting it takes a single command, and it sits alongside existing toolchains rather than replacing them. The part that matters for AI-assisted development is the Model Context Protocol server, which generates rule files for 40+ coding agents, so assistants in Cursor, Windsurf, and Zed are held to the same standards a human reviewer would apply. That keeps AI-generated code from slipping through with looser rules than human contributions. For developers and tech leads who want one standard across both, it's a straightforward way to get there.
