Why we included this project
Teams that work in Cursor and keep typing the same AI requests will find a library of slash-command prompts stored as Markdown files in `.cursor/commands/`. Each file targets one workflow, like code review, debugging, or database migrations, so typing `/` brings up a structured prompt instead of rewriting instructions from memory. Because the files live in git, the prompts ship with your repository and stay consistent across the team, which helps when you want everyone to follow the same review checklist or coding standards. The files also work as a starting point for writing your own commands, since they follow a clear structure you can copy. Teams on other AI coding tools can borrow the prompt content as reference, though the commands themselves are tied to Cursor's slash-command mechanism.
