Why we included this project
Halfrost-Field is a one-author library of deep technical writing with an unusually wide spread. It covers Go internals, iOS and network protocols, machine learning course notes, and source-level walkthroughs of inference engines like vLLM. If you learn best by reading real code, it reads like a guided tour through hard problems: slice and channel internals, HTTP/2 and TLS, Google's S2 spatial indexing, and the request lifecycle inside a modern LLM serving stack. The pieces are detailed enough to work as study material before you tackle a topic in your own code, and the curated table of contents makes it easy to jump to the chapter you need. This is a learning resource, not software you install, but the depth and organization are what make it worth keeping around.
