Why we included this project
If you're new to LangChain, this repo is a good way to learn by doing. It's a tutorial rather than a deployable app: two Cookbook notebooks walk through the core concepts and common use cases, and each pairs with a YouTube video so you can watch and code along in Jupyter or Colab. The project gallery lists real community projects sorted by difficulty, from beginner to advanced, with links to their source code, so you can see how summarization, document Q&A, extraction, and agents are actually built. For a team about to build their first LLM app, this is a practical primer before digging into the framework's official docs.
