Why we included this project

This repo is the full first semester of the girafe-ai machine learning course, laid out like a real university curriculum. It starts with naive Bayes and k-nearest neighbors, then moves through linear regression, SVM, decision trees, and eventually into deep learning, computer vision, NLP, and reinforcement learning. Each week bundles lecture slides, video recordings, and seminar notes, along with homework assignments that force you to build and debug models yourself. Self-taught learners get the pacing and accountability of a structured course, while teachers can reuse the materials, assignments, and slide decks directly. If you want a free, organized route from ML basics to deeper topics, this is a strong starting point.
