Why we included this project
Help desk and sysadmin teams often answer the same onboarding and troubleshooting questions over and over because the answers live in different tools. Gerev indexes Slack, Confluence, Jira, Google Drive, Mattermost, GitLab Issues, and other internal sources into one natural-language search interface, so instead of remembering where a doc lives you can just ask "how do I connect to the VPN." It runs as a single Docker container, works on CPU-only hardware, and offers a managed cloud tier if you prefer not to operate it yourself. Anyone tired of hunting through scattered company documentation for answers they already know should give it a try.
