Why we included this project
This repo is a curated reading list for anyone doing visual object tracking. It organizes the field's papers by conference and year, with direct links to each PDF and, where the authors released code, to the corresponding repositories. A shortlist of recommended works points to the papers that capture the main trends, and an overview diagram shows how tracker architectures have evolved. It is not software you can run; the value is the curation, which makes it handy for reconstructing the state of the art without re-Googling every paper and for spotting which methods have public implementations you can actually try. The list was last updated in mid-2020, so treat it as a solid historical foundation and follow citations forward for current work.
