Why we included this project
gin-vue-admin pairs a Vue 3 front end with a Go/Gin backend and ships with the admin features most teams end up building anyway: JWT and Casbin permissions, dynamic menus and routes, file uploads, pagination, and a form builder. The AI angle comes from a built-in code generator, an MCP service that lets coding agents talk to the project directly, and a skills system that exposes your existing APIs to those agents as callable capabilities. Solo developers and small teams comfortable with Go and Vue get a solid admin base with AI tooling already wired in, which saves the usual weeks of wiring auth and layout by hand. It is a framework to build on rather than a finished product, so plan to learn its conventions and check the BSL license terms before commercial use.
