Why we included this project
People who want to learn deep learning by writing code will get a lot out of this repo. It holds the notebooks, slide decks, and spreadsheets that accompany the 2022 edition of fast.ai's Practical Deep Learning for Coders, and the lessons take a beginner from a first image classifier to building and deploying real models, with working code for each idea rather than just theory. Each notebook comes in two versions: the full one with prose and outputs, and a stripped-down clean copy for working through the exercises yourself. There is also a guide for running everything in a GitHub Codespace, which helps if you would rather not set up a GPU environment on your own machine. Study groups, teachers, and anyone assembling a practical ML syllabus will find this a dependable set of materials to build on.
