Why we included this project
CompreFace gives you face recognition as a REST service rather than a library you have to wire up yourself. It runs in Docker with an admin UI and SDKs, so a small team can enroll faces and start doing verification or identification without anyone writing models or tuning them. The API covers detection, landmark estimation, mask and head-pose checks, plus age and gender recognition, which makes it handy for access control and attendance setups. Because it deploys on your own hardware instead of a hosted cloud, it al.
