Why we included this project
Anyone who keeps hitting the ceiling of low-resolution source images will get real mileage out of Final2x. It wraps PyTorch-based super-resolution models in a desktop app for Windows, macOS, and Linux, and the batch mode lets you run whole folders of photos, artwork, or screenshots instead of one file at a time. The newer cccv backend accepts custom models, so teams that trained their own upscalers are not stuck with the bundled defaults. The separate core package also lets developers embed the same upscaling into their own applications. Everything runs locally, which.
