Why we included this project

Long agentic coding sessions tend to drift: the goal gets fuzzy, context gets lost when you start a new conversation, and unfinished work sits at awkward boundaries. COMPASS Skills addresses that with nine local SKILL.md modules you can install into Claude Code, Codex, or similar tools. The task-clarifier forces agreement on scope and acceptance criteria before you start, the task-forest keeps a repo-local graph of goals and dependencies that survives conversation boundaries, and pause-and-resume plus session-handoff-prompt let you stop at a safe checkpoint and hand the context to a fresh session. A user-profile keeper stores your communication and risk preferences locally, and the run-history pair turns real execution evidence into reviewed skill upgrades. The academic-humanizer and interview-assessor skills are narrower extras, and since each module installs independently, you can take just the pieces that fit your workflow.
