Why we included this project

LangChain.dart is an unofficial Dart port of the LangChain framework, and for Flutter or Dart teams it fills a real gap: you get the familiar component model without running a separate Python service. The library presents one interface for providers like OpenAI, Google, Mistral, and Ollama, and bundles prompt templates, output parsers, document loaders, vector stores, and agent tooling. With those pieces you can assemble chatbots, retrieval-augmented Q&A, summarization, and tool-using agents, and the LangChain Expression Language gives you a way to compose them. People who already know LangChain from Python will recognize the structure; Flutter developers new to LLM work get a clear way to chain model calls together and build up to full agents. If your app is written in Dart, this keeps the LLM logic in your own codebase rather than behind an external API.
