Why we included this project
Prompt engineering is still a young discipline, and this guide has become the de facto place to learn it. It is not software you install; it is a curated collection of tutorials, research papers, and worked examples that take you from basic prompting to techniques like chain-of-thought, ReAct, and retrieval-augmented generation. The prompt hub is especially useful, showing real prompts for classification, coding, and reasoning tasks that you can adapt. Because it tracks the research literature, it also helps you keep up with which techniques actually hold up as the field moves fast. For teams adopting LLMs, it is a good way to build a shared vocabulary and sensible habits before prompts go into production.
