Why we included this project

Chipotlai Max is a meme fork of OpenCode, the terminal-based AI coding agent, that swaps in Chipotle's customer-support chatbot, Pepper, as the default model. A locally running proxy reverse-engineers Pepper's backend, so the whole thing works without any API keys or paid inference. If you already use OpenCode, the workflow is familiar: clone, install, run the bundled start script, and you have a working coding agent in your terminal at zero cost. It is a fun experiment rather than a production tool, and the project is upfront about that. The upstream service can break at any time, and the reverse-engineered proxy carries real legal risk, so treat it as a curiosity to poke at, not something to build on.
