Why we included this project
If you build computer-vision datasets, the tedious part of the job is rarely the model. It is producing clean, consistent labels at scale. X-AnyLabeling is a desktop tool that pairs a familiar manual annotation interface with an unusually wide set of built-in AI models for object detection, instance segmentation, pose estimation, oriented bounding boxes, OCR, and SAM-based interactive segmentation. That combination lets a single annotator start from AI-generated suggestions and then fine-tune them by hand, which is the workflow most small vision teams actually run. The app also handles text, image, video, and multimodal files in one place, and its flexible import/export formats sit neatly alongside existing pipeline tooling. If you want an annotation stack that works out of the box without standing up a server, this is a strong starting point.
