Why we included this project
Most Tailwind projects end up rebuilding the same widgets, and David UI, published on npm as david-ai, exists to skip that step. It is a free, open-source component library covering the usual interface pieces, alerts, modals, dropdowns, tooltips, each shipped with a small initialization helper rather than a heavyweight framework to adopt. You can pull it in from a CDN for a plain HTML page or install it via npm and import what you need, and the TypeScript-typed API keeps control over behavior and cleanup in your hands. If your product shell needs a lot of polished UI fast without surrendering your own styling, this is a handy starting point.
