Why we included this project

Unity developers who already rely on an AI coding assistant will get the most from this project. Rather than the assistant handing back C# that you paste in and hope compiles, the editor itself becomes a tool surface: the same set of 47 tools works across any Model Context Protocol client, so Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and local models all get the same reach without vendor lock-in. You can ask, in plain language, for the assistant to create and arrange GameObjects, edit scripts, run tests, or kick off a build. Setup stays light, you install a Unity package and let it detect your clients once, and you are driving the editor from your assistant of choice. Teams that want to automate repetitive editor work, prototype scenes quickly, or let non-scripters drive Unity will get value right away.
