Why we included this project

ComfyUI users who are tired of rebuilding the same node chains by hand have an official place to start. This repository holds the workflow templates and subgraph blueprints that ship inside the editor's template picker, organized as Python packages with one package per media type, each carrying the workflow JSON and its preview images. Reusable subgraphs collapse multi-node setups into individual nodes you can drag from the palette. The repo also feeds templates.comfy.org, a searchable site where you can preview a workflow before adapting it. Teams shipping their own ComfyUI nodes can follow the same package-per-media layout and manifest structure to bundle example workflows and thumbnails with their distributions.
