Why we included this project
ComfyUI-Manager is the extension to add right after ComfyUI itself, and for good reason: it takes over the maintenance work that otherwise eats your time. It installs, updates, and removes custom nodes, pulls down models from various sources, and can tell you which nodes a downloaded workflow needs before you try to run it. The snapshot feature is the standout for teams, letting you save and restore an exact installation state so a workflow that worked last week still runs next month. It also doubles as a hub for browsing available nodes and models inside the ComfyUI interface, which makes the ecosystem much easier to explore for newcomers. If you maintain a ComfyUI install, solo or shared, this is the first thing to add.
