Why we included this project

If your daily work happens inside Blender, this add-on puts Stable Diffusion right where you already model and shade. You type a prompt and the result lands in your image or shader editor as a texture, concept art, or background asset, with no need to bounce between a separate generator and the viewport. The Seamless option is the detail that pays off: it produces textures that tile with no visible seam, and Project Dream Texture goes further by mapping generated imagery onto whole scenes with depth-to-image. Inpainting and outpainting handle repairing or extending existing images, and the Cycles render pass lets you restyle animations, so it is not limited to one-off stills. Generation runs on your own GPU, which keeps iteration fast and private, with DreamStudio as a cloud fallback when your hardware cannot keep up. Artists and small teams who want generative imagery tied tightly to their modeling workflow will get real use out of this.
