Why we included this project
Anyone who has burned a morning chasing down references knows why ScienceClaw exists. It runs on the OpenClaw agent engine and handles the busywork of literature research: querying databases, pulling papers, and running analyses, while a persistent memory keeps your search strategy and context from one project to the next. What sets it apart is the self-improvement loop. As you finish tasks, the agent writes and refines specialized skills for your subfield, learning things like which databases to hit first and how you want citations formatted. The no-fabricated-citations rule is the part worth testing yourself, since a research assistant that invents references is worse than none.
