Why we included this project
Developers who use AI coding agents to work with AWS will find this toolkit useful. It provides MCP servers, skills, and plugins that plug into the assistants they already use, including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and Kiro. The agent can then pick services, write CDK or CloudFormation, deploy serverless and container workloads, and handle storage, observability, and billing without guessing. The bundled skills also cover data analytics with Glue and Athena, building agents on Bedrock, and DevSecOps tasks like incident investigation and vulnerability scanning. Since AWS maintains it and ships it through official marketplaces, it gives coding agents accurate, current knowledge of AWS services and guardrails for how they act, which cuts down on the trial-and-error of agents improvising against cloud APIs.
