Why we included this project
This repo is a learning roadmap rather than another coding tool, written by Vilson Vieira and Eric S. Raymond for anyone trying to make sense of AI-assisted development. It's organized like a FAQ: newcomers pick up the basic vocabulary (AI coding, vibe coding, agentic coding) and walk through practical workflows, while experienced developers who haven't adopted AI assistants yet get a no-fuss overview of editors, model behavior, and practices that actually work. The guide also curates essays, videos, and podcast links from practitioners, and the authors keep those resource lists updated as new models and tools arrive. Because the value is the curation and editorial judgment, not any single tool, it works well as a reference for teams deciding what to actually try next.
