Why we included this project

This is the Chinese edition of O'Reilly's Feature Engineering for Machine Learning, translated and published by the ApacheCN community. It walks through the book chapter by chapter, covering numeric and categorical features, text data, TF-IDF scaling, PCA for dimensionality reduction, and even automated feature extraction for images and deep learning. It's a book, not a tool, so you read it rather than run it, though you can serve the pages locally via Docker, PyPI, or npm if you prefer offline reading. The main draw is that the original is paywalled, while this translation is free, and the ApacheCN discussion group gives you a place to ask questions while you work through the material.
