Why we included this project
Editors and compositors who spend their days fighting green-screen spill and hair detail will find something useful here: an AI keying engine that runs on the machine itself rather than calling a cloud service. It plugs into DaVinci Resolve and Foundry Nuke as an OFX plugin, so it fits the node-based workflow they already use, and there's a CLI and a Tauri desktop app for batch processing and diagnostics. The project was built with Corridor Digital, and that shows in how it handles hard real-world shots like fine hair and motion blur. Since it runs natively on NVIDIA RTX and Apple Silicon, footage stays on-site and it works offline, which matters for studios with strict data handling. Worth checking the support matrix before committing, though: hardware and host coverage is explicit, and some surfaces, like the Adobe plugins, are not yet fully validated.
