Why we included this project

Adding a voice layer to a React Native app usually means wiring up a speech stack yourself. This SDK shortcuts that by dropping a voice assistant button into your Android or iOS app and connecting it to the Alan AI platform, which handles speech recognition, natural-language understanding, and speech synthesis in the cloud. You write dialog flows in JavaScript in Alan Studio, then embed the component and start issuing voice commands. The repo includes example apps that show the full integration pattern, so you can see how the native modules and event handling fit together before committing. One thing worth knowing: this is a client for a hosted service, not a self-contained voice stack, so the dependency on Alan's cloud is part of the deal.
