Why we included this project

Hardware designers who already run Claude Code or Codex for software may not expect the same agent to make sense of a KiCad project, but this pack turns it into a proper electronics design reviewer. The skills parse schematics and board files, trace nets, build the power tree from feedback dividers, and check connectors, ESD coverage, RC filters, crystal load caps, and decoupling against ground, which is where real board bugs hide. They also cover SPICE simulation, EMC pre-compliance review, datasheet cross-referencing, and BOM and component sourcing, and can prep boards for JLCPCB or PCBWay. Because the same skills run as a GitHub Action, design review happens automatically on pull requests without anyone paging through netlists by hand. Teams moving boards from prototype to production will get the most mileage from the fabricator-oriented prep and the datasheet-driven BOM checks.
