Why we included this project
Airweave sits between the tools a team already uses and the agents that need that data, syncing content from apps, cloud drives, and databases into one retrieval interface. Instead of wiring each source by hand, you point it at the systems in place, and agents query fresh, source-grounded context rather than stale embeddings. That suits internal knowledge assistants and support agents that need ticket and CRM history, and it helps RAG pipelines that have outgrown a homegrown setup. Setup is Docker-based with an MCP server for AI coding clients, so a working instance comes up fast enough to test against your own data.
