Why we included this project

ClawGod is for people who already live inside Claude Code and want the official terminal client to do more. It is not a separate assistant but a runtime patch applied to the real Claude Code binary you already have installed, which unlocks internal features and lifts built-in restrictions. Because it re-extracts and re-patches against each new release on launch, it keeps working as Anthropic ships updates instead of breaking after every version bump. Developers who feel boxed in by stock Claude Code settings get a one-command way to customize the tool, including restyling the interface. The trade-off is worth knowing before you install: this modifies the official client, so you depend on a third-party project's ongoing compatibility work and should be comfortable with what a runtime patch involves.
